Help us build the platform behind the games.
MYNT is our new supplier platform: the technology that connects games, operators and the services around them. We’re looking for a Backend Developer who enjoys solving engineering problems and wants to continue growing their experience with distributed, production-critical systems.
You’ll join one of the squads building and evolving MYNT, working hands-on in .NET across APIs, services and data. You’ll work closely with the Product Owner, Tech Lead and other engineers to understand requirements, develop solutions and deliver reliable software into production.
We’re looking for someone with solid backend development experience who can work independently on well-defined tasks, contribute to technical discussions and gradually take on more ownership as they grow within the team.
What you’ll do
Software engineering & development
- Build and maintain backend capabilities that power MYNT, working mainly with C# and .NET.
- Develop and maintain services, APIs, data integrations and other backend components.
Translate product and technical requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions with support from the Tech Lead and other engineers when needed. - Participate in code reviews and technical discussions and contribute ideas for improving our solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable and testable code while following established engineering practices.
- Learn and develop your understanding of the wider platform and how changes in one area can affect other services.
Quality & production
- Take responsibility for the quality of your work and support delivered solutions in production.
- Help investigate bugs, incidents and recurring issues together with other members of the squad.
- Contribute to releases, deployment processes, monitoring and production diagnostics.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing code, reduce technical debt and automate recurring work.
- Help maintain the reliability and stability of the platform.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Product Owner, Tech Lead and other engineers from development through to delivery.
- Collaborate with other squads and teams when changes involve multiple services or areas of the platform.
- Share knowledge, ask questions and contribute to a supportive engineering environment.
- Give and receive constructive feedback as part of the team’s day-to-day work.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development using an object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java, with C# and .NET preferred.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and general software development principles.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL; experience with Entity Framework / EF Core is an advantage.
- Experience developing or working with REST APIs and backend services.
- Basic understanding of service-based or distributed architectures.
- Familiarity with software design principles and patterns, with an interest in developing these skills further.
- Some experience with CI/CD and modern software development practices.
- A practical and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions and take increasing ownership over time.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Fluent English.
