We're currently on the lookout for an experienced Compliance Manager to join us here at Greentube Malta and overlook our operations on the Italian market. This is an exciting role where you will be responsible for ensuring the monitoring and implementation of regulatory provisions in Italy.

Your tasks

Regulatory Compliance
  • Monitor regulatory obligations and changes thereof, and draft regulatory requirements for Greentube Real Money Gaming B2C platforms in the relevant jurisdiction based on regulatory provisions
  • Conduct compliance checks on features and products to be offered on the Greentube Real Money Gaming B2C platforms in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Draft and update the Terms and Conditions for Greentube Real Money Gaming B2C platforms in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Draft and update various compliance-related policies and procedures with a view to ensuring that the Group’s operations in the relevant jurisdiction are carried out in a manner which is compliant with the applicable regulatory requirements
  • Liaise closely with the Group’s operational teams, including AML/CFT, Fraud and player protection operations teams and handle escalations from the operational teams
  • Perform internal control checks on the Group’s operations in the relevant jurisdiction, identify issues and improvements, and propose solutions to relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of external audits, as required in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Creation of awareness and establishment of knowledge of compliance-related topics internally by:
    • Preparing and delivering of in-house and external compliance training
    • Formulating compliance check-lists to be used internally and ensuring that these are kept up-to-date
    • Supporting all internal stakeholders on a continuous basis with issues concerning compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations
    • Monitoring and reviewing all developments within the regulatory environment of the business, recognizing areas which need improvements, initiating relevant changes and identifying vulnerabilities within the business
    • Preparing and processing compliance-based assessments and reports
    • Conducting research, analyzing and disseminating information on new or revised laws and regulations affecting the business of the Company and any compliance-related matters
    • Generally ensuring that the Company and all relevant stakeholders are kept informed of all relevant developments in the industry from a compliance perspective
 
License Portfolio Management
  • Prepare and coordinate the submission of applications for new gaming licenses as the Company may require from time to time
  • Ensure a smooth licensing and certification process for any such new licenses
  • Coordinate and manage regulatory reporting obligations to the relevant regulatory authority/ other entities within the relevant jurisdiction
General
  • Participate in compliance activities organized by regulators, gaming industry bodies and/or other companies part of the Novomatic group
  • Support other teams and stakeholders in various compliance matters e.g. audits and trainings

Your profile

  • 2-5 years previous experience in a similar role is essential, ideally within the iGaming industry or within a similar regulated industry
  • Native or near native level of Italian & English fluency are a must
  • Legal background and/or an appropriate compliance certification is desirable. Knowledge of, and experience with the Italian legal and administrative systems would be considered a plus
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators and legal advisors, as well as internal departments is desirable
  • Experience with licensing procedures and post-licensing compliance is desirable
  • Knowledge of gambling laws, advertising laws and data protection regulations is various jurisdictions is desirable. Knowledge of the Italian laws and regulations would be considered a plus
