EUC Engineer – Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Citrix DaaS / Citrix Cloud), 1. image

We’re looking for an experienced EUC Engineer to take ownership of our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platform, with a strong focus on Citrix DaaS, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD), and Citrix Cloud.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll lead the design, improvement, and evolution of our EUC services. Rather than working through a queue of tickets, you’ll drive impactful projects, introduce standards and best practices, and automate repetitive tasks to improve reliability, performance, and user experience.  

Your tasks

  • Own and continuously improve production Citrix DaaS/CVAD in Citrix Cloud (stability, performance, standardization, service improvements).
  • Troubleshoot complex VDI incidents and drive structured root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Build and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base for scalable support.
  • Operate within ITIL and change management practices using ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with network/security/identity teams to ensure secure and reliable access. 

What success looks like (first 90 days):

  • Own the basics: Understand the environment, processes (ITIL/ServiceNow), and take ownership of the VDI scope without micromanagement.
  • Deliver one visible improvement: Implement a measurable improvement (e.g., stability/performance, standardization, monitoring/runbook coverage).
  • Standardize & document: Publish at least two runbooks/knowledge articles and deliver one improvement that reduces manual operational effort. 

Your profile

  • Fluent English Language Skills, both written and spoken.
  • Hands-on experience with Citrix DaaS and/or CVAD and Citrix Cloud operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and ownership mindset in production environments.
  • Experience operating environments at scale (thousand+ endpoints/users).
  • Experience working in structured ITSM/ITIL environments (incident/problem/change).

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in automation using tools like PowerShell, Ansible, or similar scripting to optimize EUC operations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Autopilot / Entra ID (VDI touchpoints and endpoint dependencies).
  • Exposure to Microsoft Defender concepts in EUC/VDI contexts.
  • Awareness of BeyondTrust EPM, third-party application patching, and/or DEX tooling.
  • Exposure to AVD.
