We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Human Resources team.
As part of our HR department for our Maltese office, you will play a crucial role in supporting our recruitment process, enhancing employer branding, and contributing towards the employee journey.
Your tasks
- Assist in the recruitment process by stepping in for the Head of HR / Senior TA specialist when needed
- Support employer branding efforts
- Oversee the work permit process
- Assist with new recruit onboarding days
- Work closely with the Finance department for payroll and reporting matters
- Act as the main point of contact for learning and development topics
- Review employee benefits year on year and ensuring choices are in line with employee feedback and market research
- Oversee the execution of company events
- Act as a point of escalation for employee queries
- Support in disciplinary action as required
- Assist in updating HR Internal processes and procedures
- Assist with reporting and administrative tasks as required
- Be involved in and contribute to other HR projects as requested
Your profile
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on both administrative and strategic HR functions
- A diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluency in English at a professional level, both written and spoken
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships and handle sensitive issues
- Empathetic and approachable to support employee queries and concerns
- Detail oriented with the ability to ensure compliance and analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively within the existing HR team
- Proficiency in HR software (Talexio preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence would be considered an asset
