The Head of Internal Audit leads the Internal Audit function across the organization, acting as an independent and objective assurance partner to senior management and the Board. The role strengthens governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks by identifying key risk exposures, promoting operational efficiency, and safeguarding the organization’s integrity and reputation.

As the leader of the Third Line of Assurance, this position ensures audit activities are risk-based, value-adding, and aligned with strategic priorities. 

Your tasks

  • Define and continuously evolve the Internal Audit strategy, aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and risk exposure
  • Establish and maintain the Internal Audit Charter, methodologies, standards, and Quality Assurance Improvement Program
  • Develop and execute a risk-based annual audit plan, prioritizing key risk areas and business-critical processes
  • Oversee the execution of internal audits, ensuring findings are data-driven, objective, and clearly documented
  • Review and communicate audit results to senior management and relevant stakeholders, providing independent assurance and actionable recommendations
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and assess their effectiveness through follow-up activities
  • Act as the Third Line of Assurance by identifying and assessing regulatory, operational, and compliance risks
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to proactively address emerging risk areas
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on internal controls, governance, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and risk awareness across the organization
  • Build, lead, and develop the Internal Audit team, ensuring high professional standards and continuous development
  • Manage the Internal Audit budget and represent the function in interactions with Group Internal Audit and key stakeholders 

Your profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Internal Audit, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • CIA, CRMA, or comparable certifications will be considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the International Professional Practices Framework (IIA), risk management frameworks, and internal control systems
  • Solid understanding of regulatory environments within the gambling industry and the ability to interpret legal and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to translate complex risk and audit findings into clear, concise, actionable insights for Executive and Board audiences
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and organizational capabilities combined with high integrity and sound judgment
  • Confident communicator able to translate risk concepts into clear business language
  • Experience leading and developing audit teams
  • Fluent in English
