Junior Risk Analyst - Italian market

Here at Greentube Malta we're always on the lookout for the best talent out there and we're now looking for a Junior Risk Analyst to join the team! If you you're a born investigator, passionate about fraud prevention and have a keen eye for detail - this might be the perfect role for you!

This is a great opportunity, where you will be forming part of our Fraud Operations team, where the main objective is to protect corporate assets by identifying fraudulent behavior conducted by end users that attempt to defraud company websites by using a mix of payment methods, identity theft, engaging in schemes with the sole purpose of exploiting promotions and/or temporary application weaknesses/bugs or more elaborated cheating/collusion activities.

Your tasks

Adhere to corporate wide and team specific policies, procedures and guidelines.
Monitor and analyse deposits
Process and verify KYC documentation
Review and process payouts requested by customers.
Be able to escalate accounts when identifying concerns and reply to escalations from other teams within the organisation.
Investigate flagged or alerted customer accounts generated by the Fraud framework.
Block and unblock customer accounts in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
Actively participate in improving internal procedures and processes.
Be able to work with large amount of information in order to recognize patterns
Be able to determine fraud trends based on own analysis.
Ensure that tasks are performed in line with the compliance and legal obligations deriving from the respective jurisdiction.

Your profile

Previous experience working in the iGaming industry, preferably in a similar role
Prior experience within an analytical role or a keen interest to move into this area
Fluent level of English& native or near native level of Italian
Thorough understanding of fraud processes and applications.
Analytical mindset & detail oriented
Self-driven and flexible attitude towards task rotation
Organizational skills and ability to work both on own initiative and within a team
Skilled in task prioritisation and time-management
Reliable, high level of integrity and work ethics
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
