We are looking for a motivated Junior Risk Analyst to join our Risk Operations team, where you will play a crucial role in protecting our operations from fraud, financial risks, and regulatory non-compliance.
This is a full-time position based on a shift schedule, covering weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
Your tasks
- Ensure compliance with company-wide and team-specific policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze customer deposits to detect suspicious activity.
- Process and verify Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Review and process customer payout requests in accordance with internal policies.
- Identify and escalate accounts with potential concerns while handling escalations from other teams.
- Investigate flagged or alerted customer accounts identified by the Fraud Detection Framework.
- Manage account restrictions by blocking and unblocking customer accounts per established procedures.
- Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes and risk management strategies.
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and detect potential fraud risks.
- Assess emerging fraud trends and provide insights based on independent analysis.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal and regulatory obligations relevant to the jurisdiction.
Your profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the iGaming industry or a similar role in another industry.
- Experience working within the UK market will be considered an asset.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong understanding of fraud detection processes and applications.
- Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, and Responsible Gaming principles is advantageous.
- Self-driven with a flexible approach to shift rotation.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- High level of reliability, integrity, and strong work ethics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SQL or risk analysis tools is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
