The Lead IT Architect acts as the strategic bridge between business vision and Group IT, defining the technology that powers our global success. Your tasks
- Develop a deep understanding of business priorities and value drivers to proactively identify and bridge technology capability gaps
- Translate complex business requirements into high-level technical solution designs in close collaboration with engineering subject matter experts
- Lead the development and maintenance of the overall architecture vision and platform technology stack for Group IT
- Oversee the architectural design of complex use cases, prioritizing scalability, security, and long-term maintainability
- Moderate internal and external workshops to design technical solutions and foster a collaborative architecture mindset across the organization
- Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct cost-benefit analyzes to guide senior management in informed decision-making
- Drive group-wide standardization, automation, and simplification initiatives through the creation of architectural blueprints
- Act as a trusted advisor to engineers and senior stakeholders, ensuring all designs comply with security, regulatory, and operational standards
Your profile
- Proven track record spanning 15+ years in IT, with 3+ years specifically focused on high-level architecture and strategy
- Profound knowledge of IT Project Management and Service Management standards like ITIL, ISO, or IPMA
- Deep expertise in IT Security standards and a comprehensive understanding of modern technology stacks
- Strong ability to draft clear concepts and business cases for new initiatives and innovative ideas
- Excellent interpersonal and moderation skills with the ability to lead and motivate without formal authority
- Analytical and rational thinker, capable of presenting complex technical topics to senior audiences
- Familiarity with agile methods, tools, and principles in a high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on structuring both individual and team-level workflows

The minimum gross annual salary for this position according to the applicable collective agreement is €70,000 (full-time basis). A higher salary is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
