Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys building scalable systems while growing high-performing teams? We’re looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our team and play a key role in shaping our product and technical direction.

As Lead Software Developeryou will combine strong technical expertise with leadership skills to guide the team in delivering reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions. You will work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to transform business goals into technical execution while mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence.

Duty Statements and Key Responsibilities

Software Development, Quality & Operations

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET (Core / .NET 8+) and modern frontend applications with Angular Contribute to scalable solutions across APIs,services, databases and user interfaces
Work with data models and persistence using Entity Framework / EF Core and relational databases
Apply software design principles, patterns and clean architecture in day-to-day development Collaborate with Product Owners to refine requirements and support implementation
Oversee production systems with a focus on stability, performance and maintainability
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, release processes and DevOps practices across the team
Ensure proper observability through logging, monitoring and system transparency
Understanding software development life cycles and methodologies of work (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
Skilled at preparing clear, well-defined development tickets that reduce friction between business stakeholders and the development team

Team Enablement & Delivery

Mentor and support developers, contributing to their growth and the overall capability of the team
Create clarity in technical discussions, help drive decisions to closure
Promote consistent engineering standards and raise the overall technical quality
Support planning, estimation and prioritization with a strong technical perspective
Ensure the team delivers reliably, balancing speed, quality and sustainability
Maintain visibility of the team’s technical progress, help keep delivery on track together with the backlog priorities and support the resolution of technical blockers or escalations within the team

Technical Ownership & Direction

Drive the technical direction of the team, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the overall architecture
Take ownership of architectural and design decisions, balancing short-term delivery with long-term sustainability
Maintain visibility of system architecture, dependencies, potential risks
Ensure system health by actively addressing technical debt, performance and maintainability
Align with architects and other teams to ensure consistency across the platform

Your profile

At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role (e.g. Tech Lead or similar)
Demonstrated ability to guide a team, drive technical decisions and improve team outcomes
Strong experience in full stack development using technologies such as .NET (Core / .NET 8+), Angular, relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and modern development and DevOps practices
Hands-on experience with Entity Framework / EF Core, including data modeling, migrations and working with relational database designs in production environments
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and scalable architecture
Deep understanding of software design principles, patterns, and clean architecture
Solid understanding of software delivery practices, including version control workflows, CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, release management, QA processes and multi-environment deployments
Experience with containerization and cloud-native setups (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to make and drive decisions
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience mentoring developers and enabling team performance
Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving improvements
Fluent in English

Nice to have:

Familiarity with API gateways, messaging systems, gRPC or asynchronous architectures
Experience with performance tuning, query optimization and database scalability
Exposure to high-availability or high-traffic systems (e.g. gaming, betting, fintech)
