We are looking for a motivated Risk Analyst to join our Risk Operations UK team, where you will play a crucial role in protecting our operations from fraud, financial risks, and regulatory non-compliance.
This is a full-time position based on a shift schedule, covering weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
Your tasks
- Ensure compliance with company-wide and team-specific fraud, risk, and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor and analyse customer accounts to detect suspicious or unusual gaming and transactional activities, escalating cases where appropriate.
- Verify documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards.
- Assess and authorise customer payout requests, applying a risk-based approach in accordance with internal controls.
- Identify and investigate accounts with risk indicators, managing escalations from internal departments including Customer Support, Player Protection and AML.
- Conduct investigations into accounts flagged by the Fraud Detection Framework or manual reviews, using data-driven methods.
- Apply account restrictions (blocking/unblocking) as required and document actions clearly.
- Contribute proactively to the development and improvement of internal fraud processes and risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyse large datasets to detect fraudulent patterns and behaviours using tools and reporting systems.
- Monitor evolving fraud trends and support the development of internal detection rules based on analysis and case reviews.
- Ensure all investigations and actions comply with legal, regulatory, and licensing obligations.
- Support Fraud Analysts in complex casework and cross-team projects.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices
Your profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fraud prevention, risk analysis, or a similar operational role in the iGaming industry.
- Experience working within the UK market will be considered an asset.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong understanding of fraud detection processes and applications.
- Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC, and Responsible Gaming principles is advantageous.
- Self-driven with a flexible approach to shift rotation.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- High level of reliability, integrity, and strong work ethics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SQL or risk analysis tools is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
