As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining modern backend services with long production lifespans, serving millions of customers in an agile development environment. You will stay up to date with the latest technologies, continuously enhancing your technical expertise while contributing innovative ideas. Your role involves making architectural and design recommendations, safeguarding the codebase, sharing knowledge, and mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Your tasks

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure software meets business and customer needs. 
  • Evaluate and improve development processes, methodologies, and tools (e.g., CI/CD) for enhanced efficiency and quality. 
  • Stay informed about emerging software development trends and technologies, exploring their potential applications. 
  
Technical Skills & Experience: 
  • .NET 8.0+ (with C#) 
  • SQL (preferably SQL Server 2016+, application developer level) 
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Azure DevOps pipelines 
  • Consuming web services 
 
Nice to Have: 
  • Experience with backend web development 
  • Experience with ASP.Net Core WebAPI and JSON 
  • Familiarity with large-scale, multi-user systems (high concurrency, high load) 
  • Understanding of dependency injection/IoC frameworks 
  • Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., ActiveMQ, Artemis) 
  • Familiarity with SOLID principles and clean coding standards 
  • Experience in writing unit tests and using mocking frameworks 

Your profile

  • At least 5 years of solid experience in software development 
  • Proven experience with agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of state-of-the-art technologies and frameworks on the .NET stack 
  • Experience in developing web services 
  • Proficiency in creating, testing, and maintaining software in an agile environment
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure-related topics such as firewalls, load balancing, server clusters, and databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team (both remotely and on-site)
  • Passion for software development and continuous learning
